Get Involved in Parish Life

Adult Ministries

From Wednesday evening Bible Study to our weekly lecture series, The Sunday Forum, Grace Church offers numerous opportunities for adults to grow in their faith, grapple with difficult questions, and broaden their community.

Canterbury Downtown for college students and events for parishioners in their 20s and 30s provide unique avenues for young adults to engage with the church, while the Grace Church Women (GCW) and women’s Bible Study offer dedicated space for women of the parish to connect with the word of God, with each other, and with the local community.

Children, Youth, and Families

It is a joy to see the children and youth of our parish engage with the word of God in Scripture, lift up their voices in song, and grow into adults who carry God’s love with them into the world. There are weekly opportunities for children to take part in the life of Grace Church. Our professionally-staffed nursery for children ages 0-4 and our children’s chapel for children ages 5-12 welcome little ones every Sunday and help make Grace Church an engaging place for our youngest parishioners.

Outreach

Grace Church is dedicated to serving our neighborhood, community, and city. We work with partner organizations throughout the year, helping alleviate the stresses of homelessness and hunger for those in need. Together, we strive to do our part, building up the Christian community and the Body of Christ.

Baptism

At Grace Church, you will find a large, loving, and supportive family of Christians who will do all in their power to encourage you in your life in Christ. The sacrament of baptism takes place during a weekly, public worship service about once a month. If you are interested in learning more about baptism for yourself or your child, please review some of the most frequently asked questions we receive.

Columbarium

One of the great promises of the Christian faith is that death has lost its power to separate us forever from our loved ones. Because of Easter – because Jesus Christ has been raised from death – we trust that we too shall enjoy eternal life in God’s heavenly kingdom. If you are planning for the burial of a loved one and would like to learn more about the Grace Church Columbarium, please review the following materials.
